Use this UPPCL Sanctioned Load Calculator to estimate a practical connection load from the appliances you may operate at the same time. It also shows the usual supply-phase range in the 2026 UPPCL Cost Data Book.

How Much Sanctioned Load Do You Need?
Sanctioned load should reflect the power you are likely to draw at the same time, not simply the sum of every appliance nameplate. This tool applies a simultaneous-use factor and safety margin, then rounds the result up to a practical whole-kW application figure.
UPPCL Supply Phase by Load
The 2026 Cost Data Book states that loads below 3 kW are normally LT single-phase. For 3-4 kW, LT single-phase or 3-phase may be provided based on consumer request. From 5 kW through 50 kW, LT 3-phase supply applies. Larger loads move into higher-voltage categories.
For a new connection, use the UPPCL New Connection Cost Calculator after choosing your load.
Disclaimer: This is a planning tool. UPPCL/DISCOM approval, wiring, category, motor starting current and local network conditions can change the sanctioned load or phase.
