UPPCL New Connection Charges in 2026
The 2026 Cost Data Book separates the amount into processing fee, security, metering charge and supply-affording charge. Processing fees start at ₹25 for eligible lifeline load up to 1 kW, ₹200 for 1-2 kW, ₹300 for 3-4 kW, ₹500 for 5-24 kW and ₹5,000 for 25-50 kW.
Security is category-specific. Lifeline up to 1 kW is nil. Rural domestic up to 2 kW is ₹100 per kW, urban domestic up to 2 kW is ₹300 per kW, domestic above 2 kW is ₹400 per kW, and LMV-2 commercial is ₹1,000 per kW.
Why Metering and Supply Charges Are Manual
