PM Surya Ghar Subsidy Amount
For an eligible residential household, the current central subsidy is ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the next 1 kW. The central subsidy is capped at ₹78,000 for systems above 3 kW. No additional central CFA is added for household capacity beyond 3 kW.
The scheme is implemented through the national PM Surya Ghar portal, and subsidy release is subject to eligibility, installation and verification requirements. State governments may provide additional support, so this calculator includes an optional state-subsidy field.

A 3 kW eligible residential system receives an estimated central subsidy of ₹78,000: ₹60,000 for the first 2 kW plus ₹18,000 for the third kW.
