UPPCL Smart Meter Bill Calculator 2026-27
How the UPPCL Smart Meter Bill Calculator Works
The calculator estimates domestic energy charges from FY 2026-27 tariff slabs and adds the monthly fixed charge based on sanctioned load. If you select smart prepaid mode with a positive balance, it estimates the 2% prepaid tariff discount described in UPPCL's smart prepaid meter guidance.
FPPAS is not hard-coded because UPPCL publishes that adjustment separately by billing month. Enter the current rupee adjustment from your bill or calculate it first with the UPPCL FPPAS Calculator.
Smart Prepaid vs Smart Postpaid
A smart meter can record detailed consumption in either billing mode. In prepaid mode, consumers add money before using electricity and can monitor balance and daily consumption. UPPCL states that consumers who keep a positive prepaid balance receive an additional 2% discount on the applicable tariff.
What the Estimate Does Not Automatically Add
The final bill can include electricity duty, monthly FPPAS, arrears, late-payment surcharge, meter-related adjustments and other account-specific entries. Use the adjustment fields when those amounts are known from the current bill.
